Google has announced AI Ultra, a new premium subscription service providing access to its cutting-edge AI tools. Priced at $249.99 per month, AI Ultra offers a comprehensive suite of AI-powered applications and services.

AI Ultra Features Include Powerful AI Tools and Ample Storage

AI Ultra subscribers gain access to several key Google AI products, including:

• Veo 3: Google's advanced video generation platform.
• Flow: A new AI-powered video editing application.
• Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Think: A powerful AI capability (currently unreleased).

Josh Woodward, VP of Google Labs and Gemini, stated that Ultra is designed for users seeking the most advanced AI capabilities from Google. The subscription also includes:

• Increased usage limits for NotebookLM and Whisk.
• Access to the Gemini chatbot within Chrome.
• Agentic tools powered by Project Mariner.
• YouTube Premium.
• 30TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail.

Agent Mode Coming Soon to AI Ultra

AI Ultra subscribers will soon gain access to Agent Mode. This feature will allow users to leverage AI for web browsing, research, and integration with other Google apps to complete specific tasks.

Google One AI Premium Replaced by AI Pro

Concurrent with the AI Ultra launch, Google is replacing its Google One AI Premium plan with Google AI Pro. This new tier will offer enhanced features and higher usage limits for products like Flow, NotebookLM, and the Gemini app (formerly Gemini Advanced).

AI Pro also includes Flow, early access to Gemini in Chrome, and real-time speech translation in Google Meet (currently supporting English and Spanish). This innovative feature translates conversations while preserving the speaker's voice, tone, and expression. This feature is also available to AI Ultra subscribers.

Currently, AI Ultra is only available in the U.S. This premium offering joins a growing market of high-tier AI subscriptions, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT Pro and Anthropic's Claude Max.
