Grok AI Chatbot Enhanced with Chart and Sketch Inputs
xAI has rolled out new features for its Grok AI chatbot, enabling users to generate charts and communicate through sketches.
Chart Generation from Data
Grok can now create data visualizations based on user-provided data or information it gathers. Users can upload datasets, and Grok will translate them into visual charts. While this feature is still experimental, it offers a convenient way to visualize data quickly. Users are advised to double-check the accuracy of the generated charts.

Communicate with Sketches
Grok also introduces a "Draw a sketch" input option. This feature allows users to communicate their ideas visually, offering another way to interact with the bot. If words aren't enough, users can now use simple sketches to illustrate their meaning.

Grok Availability and Adoption
Grok is now available to all X users, including those without X Premium subscriptions. While Grok usage is increasing, it faces competition from established AI chatbots like Meta's AI chatbot, Google's Search queries, and ChatGPT. The lack of a dedicated PR and advertising department at X may be impacting Grok's wider adoption.
Despite the challenges, xAI continues to develop and improve Grok, adding valuable features that could increase its competitiveness over time. These new chart and sketch input features offer a convenient and engaging way to interact with the AI chatbot.
