Apple is set to unveil its latest operating system, rumored to be called iOS 26 (formerly iOS 19), at WWDC 2025. Leaks suggest significant changes, from a redesigned interface to new AI-powered features.

A New Look Inspired by visionOS

iOS 26 may receive its biggest design refresh since iOS 7. Bloomberg reports the new design takes cues from Apple's Vision Pro headset, potentially incorporating translucent panels and circular app icons. This visionOS-inspired aesthetic could extend across the Apple ecosystem, including CarPlay, for a more unified user experience.

Key apps like Phone, Camera, and Safari are expected to see significant updates. The Phone app may merge favorites, recent calls, and voicemails into a single view. Camera and Safari could receive visual enhancements, including a transparent address bar for Safari.

AI and Automation Take Center Stage

Apple is reportedly developing an AI-powered health coach within the Health app. This chatbot could offer personalized lifestyle advice based on user data. The Health app may also gain food tracking capabilities.

Smarter battery management is also on the horizon, with AI optimizing battery life based on usage patterns. A new charging icon on the lock screen may display estimated charging times. Reverse wireless charging is also rumored for iPhone 17 Pro models.
