Conveyor Streamlines Vendor Security with AI
Selling software to enterprise clients involves a lengthy security review process. Conveyor automates this, saving vendors valuable time and resources.
Chas Ballew, Conveyor's founder, experienced this firsthand while running Aptible. He saw vendors repeatedly explaining their security practices to each potential customer. This inspired him to create Conveyor in 2021.
Conveyor leverages AI to automate the completion of security questionnaires and RFPs. This previously manual process often took weeks, delaying sales and contract renewals.
It's very redundant and repetitive. [Customers] don't feel it creates a ton of value, so they're very happy for AI to fill out compliance forms.
Conveyor boasts clients like Zendesk, Atlassian, Qualtrics, Workday, Netflix, and Zapier, totaling over 400 companies. The AI agent accurately completes over 90% of security questions autonomously.
Expanding to RFP Automation
Beyond security reviews, Conveyor now automates requests for proposals (RFPs). This expansion broadens its appeal beyond the tech sector.
This new feature contributed to a $20 million Series B funding round led by SignalFire, with participation from Oregon Venture Fund and Cervin Ventures.
While AI automation is ideal for this tedious task, Conveyor prioritizes data security.
We keep everything very secure, very isolated for each customer. Companies want to make sure that their confidential data is only used to process their information and it's not exposed or mixed in with anyone else's data.
Conveyor joins other startups like Loopio, Responsive, and Rohirrim in addressing this sales challenge.
