Einride Appoints New CEO as Founder Shifts to Chairman

Einride, the electric and autonomous trucking startup, has announced a leadership change. Founder Robert Falck is stepping down as CEO and transitioning to the role of executive chairman.

CFO Roozbeh Charli will immediately take over as chief executive. Einride highlighted Charli's contributions to building the company's operational infrastructure and commercial success in Europe and North America over the past five years.

Falck to Focus on Long-Term Strategy and Potential IPO

Falck founded Einride in 2016 with a vision to revolutionize the trucking industry. As executive chairman, he will focus on long-term strategy, including preparing Einride for a potential initial public offering (IPO).

“After nearly a decade of building as CEO, it’s time to shift my focus to where I can create the most long-term value," Falck stated. "As executive chairman, I will focus on the overall company strategy, including ensuring that Einride can go public when we find the time is right.”

Charli to Lead Einride's Scaling Efforts

Charli aims to continue Falck's mission and scale Einride responsibly. The company operates a large fleet of heavy-duty electric trucks across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, serving clients like PepsiCo, Carlsberg Sweden, and DP World.

Einride has raised over $650 million in funding to date and reported significant contracted revenue. The leadership transition comes as the company seeks additional funding to support its growth and achieve profitability.
