Moonhub's team, based in Menlo Park, California, will join Salesforce, an early investor in the company. This move further solidifies Salesforce's growing investment in AI-driven solutions.
As a customer and investor, Salesforce has already played a role in Moonhub's journey. From our earliest conversations, it was clear that our companies share deep core values like customer trust, along with a resolute conviction in the role AI agents will play in unlocking an era of global innovation and opportunity. We are excited for the impact we will make together.
— Nancy Xu, CEO of Moonhub
This acquisition follows Salesforce's recent $8 billion purchase of data management company Informatica and the acquisition of automation startup Convergence.ai. These strategic moves highlight Salesforce's commitment to expanding its AI capabilities across its platform.
Moonhub's AI-Powered Hiring Tools
Founded in 2022 by former Meta engineer Nancy Xu, Moonhub offers a suite of tools designed to streamline the recruitment process. These AI-powered tools automate tasks such as candidate identification, outreach, onboarding, and payroll management.
Moonhub has secured $14.4 million in funding from investors including Khosla Ventures, AIX Ventures, Day One Ventures, GV (formerly Google Ventures), and Salesforce. The company boasts hundreds of customers, including Fortune 500 companies.
This acquisition positions Salesforce to further enhance its AI offerings for HR and talent acquisition, addressing the growing demand for AI-driven solutions in the HR tech space.
While AI adoption in hiring faces mixed reactions from job seekers, its integration within HR processes is increasing. A recent Gallup poll revealed that 93% of Fortune 500 chief human resource officers have started integrating AI tools and technologies.
