Scale AI Welcomes Pesto AI Team
Scale AI, a leading data labeling company, has acquired the team behind Pesto AI, a platform specializing in remote developer recruitment. Pesto AI will be shutting down its operations.
Pesto AI, founded in 2017 by Ayush Jaiswal and Rahul Jaimini, had secured over $8 million in funding from investors including Ryan Hoover and Sahil Lavingia. The platform connected companies with remote developers worldwide.
While the exact number of Pesto AI employees joining Scale AI remains undisclosed, the acquisition signals Scale AI's commitment to expanding its AI capabilities and talent pool.
"Earlier this year, I made the exciting decision to join Scale. This move marks the next chapter in a journey I've been deeply passionate about for years—exploring how we can harness the power of AI to create meaningful opportunities for people around the world," wrote Ayush Jaiswal, now Head of Growth at Scale AI, in a blog post.
This acquisition brings valuable expertise in remote talent acquisition to Scale AI, further strengthening its position in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
