Tinder CEO Faye Iosotaluno Steps Down
Faye Iosotaluno is stepping down as CEO of Tinder in July after less than a year in the role. She announced her departure in a LinkedIn post, expressing gratitude for her nearly eight years at the Match Group-owned company.
"The consumer tech landscape is evolving in exciting, unpredictable ways — and so are my own ambitions," Iosotaluno wrote. "I'm drawn to replicating that progress by supporting and building alongside the next generation of women leaders, founders, and investors."
Iosotaluno emphasized her pride in the team she built at Tinder and highlighted the importance of diverse voices in decision-making.
Match Group CEO to Lead Tinder
Match Group CEO Spencer Rascoff will take over leadership of Tinder. He also shared the news on LinkedIn, thanking Iosotaluno for ensuring a smooth transition.
"I'm grateful for the time we've spent together over the past few months preparing for this news," Rascoff stated. "As I step in to lead the team, I'm energized by the momentum you've helped create and excited to continue building with the exceptional leaders in place."
This leadership change comes as Match Group seeks to boost Tinder's growth. Recent reports indicate the company implemented a 13% staff reduction, including cuts at Tinder, to streamline operations and reduce costs.
