The Innovation of the Year award recognizes startups exhibiting at VivaTech 2025 that demonstrate exceptional creativity, technological ingenuity, and industry-transforming potential. The initial top 30 startups represent a diverse range of sectors, from healthcare to climate tech.
Meet the Finalists:
- BeyondMath: A generative physics platform using AI to enable 1000x faster simulations for engineers, reducing time, cost, and complexity.
- Chipiron: Developing a light, low-cost MRI using ultra-low magnetic fields to increase accessibility and enable widespread screening.
- Enerdrape: Creating non-invasive geothermal panels to transform underground spaces into renewable heating and cooling sources for sustainable urban environments.
- Hua Tech International: An automated microfluidic platform with AI analysis for precise cancer diagnostics through rare circulating cell identification.
- Lumisync: Building the world's first 100% photonic oscillator for data centers, aiming to reduce latency and energy consumption by 1000x.
These finalists will pitch their innovations live on the Pitch Studio Stage at VivaTech 2025 on Wednesday, June 11th at 1:35 PM. A Q&A session with expert judges, including TechCrunch's Jeff Taylor, will follow each pitch.
The Innovation of the Year winner will be announced at the VivaTech Global Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 12th at 5:45 PM on Stage 1. The winner will receive a free Startup Corner at VivaTech 2026 and a spot in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200.
